He comes with the maddening eyes of a bull who's seen red
Charging through the open doors of your soul and breaking what left inside
Shattering you, the pieces falling to the floor, silent and unseen.
You hide in the corner of the hall or in your mind
Hoping he won't notice you picking up the pieces, only to find your hands bleeding
When the pain had almost ceased.
Running through the doors, which seem to stretch on forever
Searching for the right one, the one to lead you home,
When your legs have not the strength to stand.
The shadow upon you, growing darker as the drinks pour,
along with them the sanity of the world,
letting the frame crack.
Most days he wears a disguise,
showing them what they want,
while only you can see throught it, in all it vile features.
But times you are floating on a cloud, your dreams soaring, your heart singing,
when suddenly the covers are pulled off,
wrenching you back to the sting of reality.

omit the fifth stanza. otherwise it had good images. it wasn't the best of the best, but i can relate to the speaker, and, as such, i have a certain passionate understanding for this poem.
To be honest, I didn't like the tense. It would have been easier to read in the past - did you have any particular reason for doing it in the present?
"throught"
Through I believe....
noiseless? I don't know, but is that a word? It'd be better to put SILENT
Anyway, this is sad, I hope it's not based upon actual events, my parent's don't drink... heavily anyway.
I'm sure if my dad was drunk I'd be dead...
Anyway... nice way to describe how the person feels everytime his dad, his life, falls apart.
